Writing Programs: Recording Duration

To record duration data select “Duration” from the “Data collection method” drop down when creating a free operant behavior or program. Then select if you would like your duration data to be reported as the average duration (total duration divided by total number of occurrences) or total duration per session (all occurrences added together). You may also add maximum duration time for instances where you may want to limit the duration of the trial, such as attending to a story or playing with a peer at recess.
