Managing User Roles and Access

If your organization is not using a Zipper integration to automatically send staff profile information to Twyll, you will need to manually create and maintain these records within Twyll.

Create a new Staff Record (if necessary)

In order to create a new staff profile, you need to access the "All Staff" section for the clinic the user will be associated with (access level will be covered a little later in this article). From there, you can create the new staff using the option in the top right.

User Roles and Access

Users can be given 1 or more user roles and access levels. The highest role permission and access level configured for the user defines the total access the user has if more than one role and access level are configured.

Role Permissions

The user role defines what permissions the user has within Twyll. Here's a hierarchical (most to least permissions) list of those roles and summaries of the permissions those roles provide:

• Agency Admin - Unrestricted access to all clients and staff across all clinics within the agency. Additionally allows access to curriculum supervisor and template manager functionality.
• Clinic Manager - Unrestricted access to all clients and staff within the agency. Additionally allows access to curriculum supervisor and template manager functionality.
• Curriculum Supervisor - Grants access to managing agency level curriculum.
• Supervisor - Allows edit access to clients (including treatment plans). See notes below for client-access levels. Supervisors can run sessions and collect data 
• Therapist - Allows view-only management for clients with the exception that the therapist is able to schedule sessions for clients. Therapists primarily focus on running sessions and creating the necessary documentation for those sessions.

Access Level

Access Level defines the subset of clients that the user has access to view and interact with and only apply to the Therapist and Supervisor roles.

• Care Team Only - Access to only clients in which the user is assigned to as part of the care team
• All-Clinic - Access to clients in the same clinic that the user is assigned to
• All-Agency - Access to all clients (all_agency)
