Twyll's Prompt Fading feature allows you to dynamically adjust the prompts displayed during a session, based on the client's progress. This functionality enables you to customize both the sequence in which prompts are presented and the criteria for moving between prompts, ensuring they are tailored to each client's unique requirements. Additionally, it aids Behavioral Therapists (BTs) in selecting the most appropriate prompts for each session.
Prompt Fading Examples
Example 1: Introducing Prompts One by One
In this example, prompts are introduced systematically and remain on screen. The current, desired prompt is indicated by a green dot below the prompt level. Prompt levels hide and appear dependent on the collected data.
Example 2: Showing All Prompts with Highlights
In this example, all prompts are always on the screen, but the desired prompts are indicated by a green dot. Prompt levels are hidden after the prompted responses have been faded to an independent response.
Configuring Prompt Fading
Step 1: Enable Prompt Fading from the Program Editor
Access the "Details" of a new program or current program. Update the prompts to your desired titles and abbreviations, while listing them in order from most intrusive to least intrusive.

Step 3: Decide When to Change Prompts
Review and update the Prompt Advancement Criteria. The default will reduce the level (move to the next least intrusive prompt) after 3 consecutive correct responses and increase the level (move back to a more intrusive prompt) after 2 consecutive incorrect responses. This can be customized for each program.
Here, you can also update when the prompt level should move to independent.

Step 4: Choose Which Prompts to Show
Review and update the Codes to Display in Session. The default is to only show the prompt codes that have been introduced (current prompt codes and those that are more intrusive) and continuing to show the prompt codes after fading is complete, as seen in example 1 above.
These settings can be updated to automatically show all prompt options as well as hide the prompts after fading is complete, as seen in example 2 above.
